FAQ: Do I receive a hard copy of the certificate(s)?
We will send hard copies of the certificates to all 1st, 2nd and 3rd Prize winners. All other participants, including the Finalists, will receive a soft copy version of the certificates, which also includes a permanent verification-IDs: Verify Certificate ↗
Gold, Silver and Bronze Honours
Participants who receive at least 50% of the total points in the Final Round are awarded, depending on their relative score, Gold, Silver, and Bronze Honours in the ratios of 1:2:3. Therefore, around 16% and 34% of the participants receive a Gold and Silver Honour, respectively. All other students (with at least 50% of the total points) receive a Bronze Honour.
National Awards
Since the International Machine Learning Competition is a global competition with participants from various countries, we honour the top three participants from each nation with a special national award certificate who achieve at least 50% of all points in the Final Round. A list of the top national scorers will be published online on our website.
Awards for Ambassadors
Each year, special awards are given to the most active and responsible ambassadors to honour their excellent performance. The IMLC coordinators use the information about the number of participants that you encouraged, as well as your documented activities & pictures, to honour the following awards:

The ambassador who has encouraged the most students to participate in IMLC will receive this award.

This award is given to new ambassadors who joined during the current edition but have already made a significant contribution to outreach and shown exceptional early impact.

Awarded to the teacher who mentored the highest number of Final Round participants.

Awarded to an outstanding teacher who has shown exceptional dedication, consistent student performance, and proactive engagement in promoting IMLC.
- IMLC Teaching Impact Award:
Awarded to teachers whose students achieved outstanding results in the competition and who demonstrated exceptional dedication in supporting their participants.
FAQ: How do teachers become eligible for these awards? Teachers are automatically considered when they add participants through their teacher account. To ensure eligibility, teachers must be officially registered with IMLC.

We understand the crucial role of teachers and schools in education. Because of that, we award three types of school awards to honour the efforts of the teachers and the school. The awards are not connected to cash prizes:
- 1x IMLC School Award for Most Participants:
This award is given to the school with the most overall participants in the Qualification Round.
- 1x IMLC School Award for Most Finalists:
This award is given to the school with the most overall participants in the Final Round.
- IMLC School Award for Excellence:
Schools with many outstanding students who have achieved high results throughout the overall competition or have shown particular support for their students while participating receive this award.
FAQ: How do schools become eligible for these awards? Schools participate automatically if a student registers with the school name. Please make sure that all of your students write the school name correctly and in the same way. Also, we recommend that the school's teachers register with IMLC.
